Whether passionate alpinists, mountain bikers and skiers, families with children or vacationers in search of relaxation, the pretty village Lermoos in Tyrol is a rewarding destination for everyone. In the holiday region Zugspitz Arena can be found for instance countless hiking and biking trails, where unhurried and hobby sportsmen get their money’s worth, as well as all those who love challenges and thrill.

Of course in winter Mt. Grubigstein - the local mountain of Lermoos - is a popular meeting point for skiers and snowboarders, but off the ski slopes there are also cross-country ski runs, toboggan runs and ice rinks, as well as relaxing spa offers.
The nice village located at 1.000 m above sea level has about 1.000 inhabitants and looks back on a quite long history, because it lies along the ancient Roman road “Via Claudia Augusta” and for the first time it was documentary mentioned in 1060. First its importance was due primarily to its relevance for economy, but thanks to good traffic connections it became quickly a liked travel destination. From the end of the 19th century Lermoos began to turn into a modern vacation spot – including nature reserves, lift facilities, camping, golf course, various events and much more.
If the possibilities on the ground still are not enough: The surrounding area offers many points of interest, for instance the Bavarian royal palaces, the Crystal world of Swarovski or the historic center of Innsbruck.
