Culture, history and nature - these are the main features of the small comune St. Lorenzen in South Tyrol in northern Italy. The municipality of St. Lorenzen contains the villages Montal, Onach, Ellen, Hörschwang, Runggen, St. Martin and Moos, Maria Saalen, Stefansdorf, Sonnenburg, Fassing and Lothen.
The town is located in the middle of the western Puster Valley, at the confluence of the Rienz and the Gran Ega rivers, right at the entrance of the Val Badia.
