Hotel Sonnenberg (4-Star Superior, Fischnaller family) is located in Maranza/Meransen (Mühlbach/Eisacktal) at 1,450 m altitude, directly at the Gitschberg-Jochtal ski area with ski-in/ski-out access. The hotel impresses with large window fronts, understated luxury and an elegant atmosphere with alpine twists. It combines cuisine, Sky Spa and active mountain life into a holistic holiday experience.

Hotel Sonnenberg is located directly at the Gitschberg-Jochtal ski area: skiers can go directly from the hotel onto the slopes and ski back to the hotel in the evening. The ski area offers perfectly groomed pistes, a snowpark and winter walking trails. Ski passes can be purchased directly at the hotel. Ski room with boot heaters is included free of charge.

The new Sky Spa is exclusively for adults and offers deep relaxation with: Finnish infusion sauna, bio-panorama sauna, steam bath, outdoor whirlpool (36°C) with Dolomite views, ice grotto, crushed ice fountain, XL mist showers, numerous panoramic relaxation rooms with infrared loungers, outdoor sunbathing lawn and juice/tea corner. Cosmetic and wellness treatments bookable.

For families, Hotel Sonnenberg offers in the wellness area: year-round heated panoramic indoor and outdoor pool (warm water + sky views), garden area with natural pond for splashing and playing, family and textile sauna (ideal for children and guests wearing swimwear). Juice and tea corner available for children. The family area has no age restrictions.

Sonnenberg pamper board (¾) includes: breakfast buffet (sunrise over Pustertal), midday vital buffet at the Genussmarkt with a daily warm dish, afternoon cake buffet with homemade delicacies, 5-course gourmet dinner with regional and international specialities. In summer, Hotel Sonnenberg is located directly in the Gitschberg-Jochtal hiking paradise: countless hiking trails to alpine pastures, peaks and lakes. Included: e-bikes (free), mountain bikes (free), South Tyrol Guest Pass (free bus/train travel throughout South Tyrol). Guided hiking programme (register the day before). Day hikes e.g. to Jaufen Pass, Drei Zinnen or Pragser Wildsee.
