St. Johann (in the regional dialect better known as 'Ahrn') is the biggest locality of the Ahrnvalley: the name St. Johann comes from ‘Saint Johannes' and even so is called the church of the village.

It is really worth to see the church because of its great tower and its historic high altar build from Franz Josef Schoepf.
