The sunny town of Silandro is located in the heart of the Val Venosta. Although far from the main access route to the Val Venosta, the idyllic resort of Silandro occasionally reveals its citizen nature.

Silandro, with its center crowded with bars, cafes, restaurants, shops and alleyways, is ideal for strolling, shopping and relaxing in the city without the stressing atmosphere of a bigger place.
The symbol of the place is the steeple of the Maria Himmelfahrt church, which with its 97 meter high bell tower is the tallest of the Tyrol.
Schlanders is an excellent starting point for excursions on the surrounding mountain ranges, such as Ortles - Cevedale, the Ötztal Alps or the Sesvenna Group.
Mountain biking is easy to have fun around Silandro. Particularly adventurous are the old ways, the wooded paths in the Stelvio National Park, the scenic routes in the Hills or rocky paths to over 3000 meters!
And for those looking for extreme adventure, action and fun are guaranteed by activities such as hydro-speed, parachute flights, canyoning, rafting, canoeing and kayaking, and during the winter, ice climbing!
And with the snow, skiers, snowboarders, enthusiasts of the snowmobile, the carriage rides and ice skating lovers are all coming looking for fun!
Discover the wonderful slopes of Val Senales and arena Ortles! Or, choose a beautiful hike in the fresh snow of the Tramontana and Sun mountains.
