Rablà is located near the famous spa town Meran. In the summer the whole commune Parcines-Rablà is framed by a sea of fruit orchards and flowers.

In his honour the Commune opened the Peter Mitterhofer Typewriter-Museum. Furthermore there are many historic findings which prove that this place has a rich history even if it seems a bit nondescript at the first view. You could see the corpus of finds in the whole village.
