Castelrotto is one of the largest places in the Dolomite region of Seiser Alm in South Tyrol, stretching from St. Oswald above the slopes of the Isarco Valley to the limits of the Fassa Valley in Trentino, in the alpine area between the Sciliar Massif, Catinaccio and the Sassolungo Group.
Due to its location and its different altitudes, this village remains one of the most suitable tourist destinations for every season of the year: it attracts hikers in summer and skiers in winter. Its strategic position makes it an ideal destination for every sports and nature lover.
Castelrotto has become part of "The Most Beautiful Villages in Italy" and has a very characteristic and charming historic center. It offers the possibility to attend and experience the typical traditional and folk festivals that take place at various times of the year.
The town offers the possibility of visiting historic buildings, castles or simply strolling through the shopping streets if you do not feel like doing other types of activities.
