In winter, just a 4-minute walk from the hotel is the Gitschberg-Jochtal ski area cable car; from here you can reach the ski slopes to practice your favourite winter sports: skiing, tobogganing or cross-country skiing. If, on the other hand, you simply want to take a walk, you can do it surrounded by snow-covered nature, perhaps with a snowshoe hike.

A cable car takes skiers and snowboarders from Rio di Pusteria up to Maranza on the Gitschberg - Jochtal ski area, where they can enjoy their favourite winter sports. The beautiful snow-covered peaks of the holiday region Val Pusteria provide the backdrop. And if anyone is looking for relaxation and peace, it is possible to toboggan along the beautiful toboggan runs, go cross-country skiing or simply walk in the snow with snowshoes.
