The theme of the apple is an important matter for the economy of this village, and in autumn there are numerous festivals to its honor, during which it is elected the annual apple queen.
During winter, Naz attracts many tourists thanks to its mild climate and numerous possibilities for walks in nature, but is also ideal for those who prefer active holiday of skiing and fun on the slopes. The country of Naz Sciaves is in fact a central point, not far from the ski resorts of Sterzing, Plan de Corones, Maranza-Valles, Brixen and Racines: there is plenty of choice!
During spring and summer, however, the plateau of Natz looks like a flower garden, with blooming apple trees and growing plants that color the landscape.
