Due to its location in the natural park “Adamello-Brenta” Andalo is one of the most popular destinations for hiking holidays in Trentino. The village is situated in a height of more than 1,000 metres above sea level; therefore it is an ideal starting point for hikes through the Brenta-Dolomites whose summits reach an altitude of up to 3,200 metres. A quite long, but not very difficult tour leads to the 2,125 metres high Mt. Paganella. From the summits around Andalo you will have a breathtaking panoramic view, including Lake Garda in the south and Mt. Ortler in the north. If you rather prefer unhurried excursions you should take one of the cable cars in order to reach the mountains or make a relaxed walk through the natural park. Lake Andalo, idyllically located next to the village, is also a popular place of excursions, embedded in a picturesque landscape with green grasslands, deep forests and fantastic mountain panorama.
